Angela C. Erickson

Angela C. Erickson is the Vice President of Research at FIRE, where she defends and promotes free speech with evidence-based research and analysis. Erickson previously built a research team at Pacific Legal Foundation and was a senior research analyst at the Institute for Justice.

Her research has been cited in major news outlets, including “Good Morning America,” The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. It also has been cited on the floors of Congress and state legislatures, by presidential administrations and by two sitting Supreme Court Justices.

Erickson lives in Kentucky with her husband and their three children. She earned a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago and her undergraduate degree from Beloit College.
