Akiva Malamet is a Scholar with the Bluegrass Institute. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy (Political & Legal Thought) from Queen’s University at Kingston and a B.A. in Government from Reichman University. His research spans public policy (especially health policy), social and political philosophy, and political economy and social theory. He has broad interests in the institutions, culture, and philosophical foundations of a free, open, and pluralistic society.
He was a Don Lavoie Fellow with the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, a PPE Graduate Fellow with the Institute for Liberal Studies, and a recipient of the Carl Menger Essay Prize from the Society for the Development of Austrian Economics.
